Description

High-quality audience recordings of the 6th show in Philadelphia on May 8th, the 10th show in Seattle on May 14th, and the 11th show in Portland on May 17th from the 2012 UK reorganization tour. A 6-disc set with complete recordings is now available. The Philadelphia performances on Discs 1 & 2 are recorded with unprecedented ultra-high sound quality. It was originally recorded at the highest sound quality with enough punch and sound pressure to be declared the best of the tour, but with a moderate remaster, you can enjoy a clearer sound. The Portland performance recorded on Discs 3 & 4 is not as good as the Philadelphia performance mentioned above, but this is also a sufficient high-quality audience recording. This is a very high quality recording disc, full of natural, plump, and natural direct feeling without the feeling of being forced to do anything. The overall balance is good, the sound is delicious, and you can thoroughly enjoy the latest UK live performances that have gradually become more cohesive. There are no major changes in the set, but the quality of the performance has improved, and in the second half, the crimson cover Fallen Angel has dropped the set. In an unusual part, at 3:50 of Rendezvous 6:02, there is a moment when the keyboard turns off and makes you wonder, “I wonder what’s going to happen.” (After the performance, Jobson is MCing for Excuse.) Wetton’s vocals seemed a little lackluster at the Seattle performance compared to the previous performance, but the following performance was held in Portland on May 17th. At the performance, Wetton seemed to have been completely struck by a cold, and his vocals were in a pretty bad condition. (I can’t sing the high-frequency vocal melody in the Thirty Years intro at all, which is painful.) The sound isn’t that bad, but compared to Philadelphia and Seattle, the sound is far away and gives the impression that it’s a little unclear. It can be said that this is a difficult album for fans to see Wetton struggle with his lack of high frequencies, but the performance gets better and better with each episode, so the instrumental listening experience is wonderful throughout. There is. Unfortunately, Fallen Angel is not playing on this day, but instead you can listen to Jobson’s “Story Of UK” MC before Danger Money. Even though Wetton’s voice is not good, the performance itself is energetic and wonderful, and the performance time is the same as usual, 1 hour and 40 minutes, so you can enjoy the passionate performance. Please add this disc to your collection as an excellent record of the 2012 UK reorganization tour that will remain in the history of Western music. World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, PA.
