From the European tour after the release of “MAKING CONTACT” in 1983, the live sound source when Billy Sheehan participated as a tour member for a very short time is here in master quality, stereo sound board sound source. This is a direct recording of the on-air sound source that was broadcast live by a local radio station from the tour in Milan, Italy on February 21st. Until now, fragmentary sound sources and videos of the sound source from Billy’s time were available. However, this is the first time that a complete recording of a concert with a soundboard sound source has been made. By the way, the members are Phil Mogg (vocals), Paul Chapman (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass), Neil Carter (key, guitar), Andy Parker (drums), and Pete, who was an original member the previous year. This was realized when Way left the group and the album was recorded without a bassist, and Billy, who was active in Taras, asked for help. However, when releasing the album, the focus was on success in the United States, and the songwriting centered around Neil Carter, which changed the direction of the music, and as this was not reflected in sales, tours were also difficult. In addition, due to Phil Mogg’s extreme alcoholism, the tour became chaotic, and in the end, Billy accompanied him for only one month, and after leaving, he returned to Talas, and UFO was forced to suspend their band activities. We will be holding a final tour in the fall. Despite this situation, the live performance here is wonderful, and Billy’s solo part is also properly prepared, which can be said to be unique to his evaluation and presence.
