Description
In 1997, the North American leg of the “Pop Mart Tour” started in Las Vegas on April 25th of the same year. The North American leg of the “Pop Mart Tour” was a huge hit around the world as an unprecedented stadium tour, with a huge screen and mirror ball-style lemon objects at a cost of about 18 billion yen. The dress rehearsal held at the stadium the day before was recorded in full using ear monitor soundboard audio that was recently leaked by a related party. This is a master of a line sound source recorded using an ALD (Assisted Listening Device) for hearing-impaired audience members that was suddenly made public. The album was completed later than expected, and it was said that there was not enough time for rehearsals, so this rehearsal was full of tension just like the real thing, to check the stage progression on the huge stage set, visual points, and technical aspects. Therefore, the performance proceeded in the same way as the actual performance from the next day, and this tour, which was released after the release of the album “POP”, which was said to be a synth pop trilogy following “Acton Baby” to “ZOOROPA”, is still talked about among fans for its overwhelming stage set and intense electric lighting, but surprisingly there were few soundboard live performances, and the IEM sound source, which is now relatively well known, was valuable at the time.
