As an overseas performance title from a label with a good reputation for recordings of Japan tours, the second day’s performance in San Jose, California on May 7th & 8th, 2018, is a fully matrixed 2CD recording of the line sound source from the uncompressed multi-ear monitor source used by the band members on stage for monitoring, and the digital audience master from the front row. This is a multi-IEM matrix source that is already familiar to the label, and in recent years, in addition to the dramatic evolution of sound factors such as the equipment used and mastering environment, the members’ multiple monitor sources with different mix balances are mixed with exquisite audience sources for professional use to create a stereo mix, and this time, like the performance the day before, the quality is on a different level, like a stereo soundboard sound source. After the 30th anniversary tour of “The Joshua Tree”, “eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE TOUR 2018” started in the spring of 2018, which is the second part of the “iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE TOUR” held in 2015. The second day of the North American tour, held in San Jose on May 8th, was the fourth performance, and based on the previous tour set, the set list was rich in variety, including not only the representative songs, but also “The Blackout” from “Songs of Experience” which was performed for the first time in a live performance, and “Staring At The Sun”, which was a long time since the last set.
