Description
The Fergie Frederiksen era has a special shine in TOTO’s history. The best live album will be released. This work was recorded here in Japan. This is the best audience recording of the “February 26, 1985: Nippon Budokan” performance. Moreover, this recording is not just a guest record. It is a historical masterpiece by the famous “Kinney”. The quality is the biggest point, but first of all is the position of the show. Since Frederiksen came to Japan during his very special time, our store has archived many masterpieces. Let’s organize the collection here as well. ・February 25: Shizuoka Sangyo Hall ・February 26: Nippon Budokan [this work] ・February 27: Nippon Budokan ・February 28: Nippon Budokan “BUDOKAN 1985 FINAL NIGHT” ・March 2: Osaka Castle Hall “ISOLATION IN OSAKA” March 4th: Fukuoka International Center March 5th: Nagoya Aichi Gymnasium “NAGOYA 1985” March 6th: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium March 8th: Sendai Gymnasium and above, total 9 Performance. Four performances were held in the Kanto area, including Yokohama, and this Nippon Budokan performance was the first and second performance. This is the same worldwide. Actually, the starting place of “ISOLATION TOUR” is Japan, and this show is also the second performance of the precious Frederiksen era. This work, which records such a show, is full of the Kinney sound that is said to be “magic”. In fact, it is a recording that has been known for a long time and has been loved as the legendary LP bootleg “ISOLATION” WORLD TOUR 85. This work is a finely digitized version of the mint quality edition of that legendary LP. It is a super high quality disc that is translated without a single needle patter and does not even cause uneven rotation. The sound is just neat and beautiful. Kinney recording is known for its ultra clear, but it is not about the direct feeling of a sound board. It is a type that makes use of the hall sound of each venue rather than cutting it down, and on top of that, it has crystal clear transparency and details are super clear. The acoustics of the venue are not cloudy, but the beauty and luster of the sound, and even though it is extremely clear, it depicts a “beautiful sound that can only be achieved by the audience”, something that cannot be achieved with a soundboard or official work. And, in this work, Kinney’s characteristics are beautifully engraved, and the roaring cheers are vast but far away from the sound of the performance. It is truly a masterpiece of “Kinney Magic”. The show drawn with such sound is also valuable and exquisite. As was customary at the time, the MC that was likely to break the performance venue was cut, but thanks to the careful arrangement, a dazzling collection of famous songs flowed out at once. Anyway, the repertoire of “ISOLATION”. Unfortunately, the last song “Endless” is not included, but 7 of the 10 songs on the album are big hits. Some songs have been revived since then, but “Mr. Friendly”, “How Does It Feel” and “Change Of Heart” are valuable songs only for this tour. And the past repertoire sprinkled there is also exquisite. The selection is carefully selected, but includes all of the earliest hits, and Frederiksen’s singing voice gives it a new charm. You can enjoy all of that with Kinney’s magic sound. Even in the precious Frederiksen era, this is the second performance that will be a great start. This is a famous recording of Kinney’s passionate performance. A masterpiece of a live album where you can fully enjoy a show that combines luxury comparable to the subsequent anniversary tour and the charm of the “ISOLATION” era.
