Description
TOTO’s 40th anniversary tour, which featured a series of unusual high-quality recordings. A transcendental original recording that updates its highest peak has unexpectedly appeared. Included in the masterpiece edition is the “February 27, 2019: Sendai Sunplaza Hall” performance. At our store, the super high-quality sound albums “BUDOKAN 2019” and “OSAKA 2019” from Tokyo and Osaka are also in the midst of receiving great popularity. First, let’s organize your collection by date. ・February 14th: Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall ・February 16th: Kanazawa Opera Theater ・February 18th: Fukuoka Civic Hall ・February 20th: Nippon Budokan “BUDOKAN 2019” ・February 21st: Osaka Castle Hall “OSAKA 2019” – February 23rd: Iwate Prefectural Civic Center – February 25th: Century Hall, Nagoya International Conference Center – February 27th: Sendai Sunplaza Hall [This work] A total of 8 performances. The Tokyo and Osaka tours we have introduced so far were in the middle of the tour, but the Sendai performance of this work was the final day in Japan, which went well. This work, which records such a show, has a transcendent sound that will make you doubt your ears. No, I really can’t believe it. “BUDOKAN 2019” and “OSAKA 2019” are also extremely high quality sounds, and even if you listen to them now, they are great recordings with no flaws. It’s a super sound that you’ll be lucky if you get one on a world tour around the world. However, this work surpassed even those two works… This is an original recording of this work that was given to me by the recording artist himself, but I don’t know how to put into words how amazing it is. The thickness of the core, the sense of stability that never shakes, the sense of close contact with zero sense of distance, the fineness of a sound board… No, these points were perfect at “BUDOKAN 2019” and “OSAKA 2019”. Even so, I can clearly see that this work surpasses it. The difference is…well, I guess you could call it the “dignity of the sound.” It’s not a sound board-like core, but it “sounds” beautifully. Each note is wrapped in a vibe that makes it impossible to tell whether it’s an effect included in the output sound or the hall sound, and it colors the performance sound divinely like an aura. What is especially shocking is the deep bass. The delicateness and richness of the vibe seems to challenge human creativity. The biggest difference between a recorded CD and a concert venue is the “experience” of deep bass that can be felt throughout the body, and this work even reproduces that. Please do not misunderstand me here. This work is not a recording in which only heavy bass sounds are prominent (never!). Not only treble to deep bass, but also stereo sound and three-dimensional sound are all well-balanced. However, even the deep bass, which tends to be the weakness of audience recording, is a miracle, and the treble and midrange are also transcendent enough to balance out the deep bass. I use the word “official grade” as a compliment that goes beyond “sound board grade”, but this work is exactly that. It is also not an official excavation grade, but an “official masterpiece grade.” It’s a sound that sounds like an overdub of a great album in rock history, with just the raw (and subtle) handclaps…Well, even that isn’t enough. In fact, I was surprised that it was possible to record so much sound on a CD, and I was worried that it would be possible to reproduce such rich sound with consumer speakers. All the performances on this Japan tour were the same, and I’ve written about the special set for the 40th anniversary many times, so I’ll omit it. I can’t help but feel like just repeating unnecessary words will end up polluting this sound. Moreover, even if this album was a mediocre show (which would be impossible for TOTO, a group of craftsmen who always produce perfect masterpieces), this sound alone would make your skin crawl and your hands tremble as they hit the keyboard. It’s coming. The latest spatial recording can do this much. This is the newly opened dimension, its critical point. A horizon of sound that will update your previous perceptions. ★Miraculous ultra-high sound quality comparable to the official live album. This work has the best sound among the titles coming to Japan this time. Live at Sendai Sunplaza Hall, Sendai, Japan 27th February 2019 ULTIMATE SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (77:09) 1.
