This Japan performance had the privilege of inviting VIP ticket buyers to the sound check, and these are audience shots taken by fans who attended. The quality is super beautiful! When checking the scene that each member features, it becomes a zoom, and the serious expression as if checking the sound with eyes closed is perfect. Of course, the sound is also great. Naturally, there is no audience noise, and since we are stuck in the front row, there is no unnecessary sound or sense of distance. You can listen to detailed ensembles in super detail with line-level sound. Even though it’s a new song, everyone is so proficient that they don’t even need to look at each other, and even though it’s normal for them to repeat a series of shoddy phrases in a rehearsal, they play it perfectly just like the actual performance. He gives instructions to the engineer while checking with his own ears what the sound will be like in the actual audience seats. This is a famous scene that brings to mind Lukather’s position as an organizer of a band, and his expression as a musician who wants to deliver as good a sound as possible to the audience.
