Toto/Europe Tour 2010

A set of three selected performances recorded with ultra-high quality audience recordings from TOTO’s 2010 European tour with vocalist Joseph Williams. This is a special reorganized live show held for a limited time to support Mike Porcaro, who is currently battling illness, with Nathan East on bass. Disc 1 includes 1 hour and 13 minutes from the “Krum Classic Rock Festival” held in Austria on July 9th. Recorded with the highest sound quality comparable to line recording, with perfect separation and balance. The sound is surprisingly close, giving the illusion of an official live album. Discs 2 & 3 include 1 hour and 45 minutes of the July 13th performance in Heerfgovaard in the Netherlands. Compared to the Crum sound source, the sound is more like an audience recording, giving a sense of the presence of the venue, but the sound image is also very stable and the sound is close, so there is no problem even if this performance is released alone. This is a high quality recording. Lukather’s guitar solo, recorded with a piercing sound, is full of power. Unlike the Crum performance, which was a short festival performance, you can enjoy a full set including Stay Away (The Seventh One), I Will Remember (Tambu), Keyboard Duet, and Somewhere Tonight (Fahrenheit). Discs 4 & 5 include 1 hour and 22 minutes of the Finnish Pori performance on July 22nd. This is a festival sound source, and although it is a little short in content, the sound quality is top class. This sound source uses the master DAT of the recorder directly and is a must-listen for collectors. It has a high sound quality that gives a natural and spacious feeling, and if you strictly compare the sound quality, it seems like Crumb ≧ Poly > Heerfugovaard, but personally, I feel that the Poly sound source recorded at the highest sound quality that is easy on the ear is the most pleasant. You can listen. Lea is not played on this day, but I Will Remember and Somewhere Tonight are nice selections.
