Tom Petty, who passed away suddenly on October 2, 2017, had just finished the 40th anniversary tour of the Heartbreakers, and the sudden news of his death came as a shock to fans all over the world. Five years earlier, on June 29, 2012, Petty’s appearance at the annual Italian event “LUCCA SUMMER FESTIVAL” was recorded in 112 minutes in official quality from the broadcast master, with stereo soundboard sound source. And while the festival is centered on best hits, it also features F. Mac’s “Oh Well,” Chuck Berry’s “Carol,” and the masked project TRAVELING WILBURYS’ “Handle With Care,” and the highlight is “Two Men Talking,” a rare number that has not been played even 10 times in the past.
