Description
This 56-minute recording captures Petty’s appearance on the renowned German program “Rockpalast” on June 14th, during a break in the Euro tour supporting the release of his 1977 debut album, “American Girl.” While the footage was originally broadcast on TV and available for distribution, this official digital broadcast brings it to fully official quality. Since the appearance also served as a promotion for his debut album, the recording focuses on five tracks from the album, capturing the youthful, innocent 26-year-old Tom Petty in the early days.
