Description

TNT reunited and returned to Japan in 1997. A live album that captures the scene with powerful sound is now available. This work includes “April 29, 1997: Umeda Heat Beat.” This is the best audience recording. TNT disbanded once after performing in Japan in 1992, but reunited in 1996. Shortly after the release of their comeback album “FIREFLY”, they returned to Japan. First, let’s look back at the show’s position from that schedule.・April 23rd: THE BOTTOM LINE ・April 25th: Matsumoto Social Cultural Center ・April 26th: Club Citta Kawasaki ・April 27th: Hibiya Outdoor Concert Hall ・April 29th: Umeda Heat Beat ←★Book Written by★ Above, 5 performances in total. The Osaka performance of this work was a concert on the final day of the third visit to Japan. The biggest point of this work is the superb sound. Anyway, it’s thick-boned, thick, and beautiful. When I focus on the snare and bass drum, I get the feeling that the tone is audience-like, but that’s just the tone. The big core is right in front of you, and the details are also clear. Although it was recorded over 20 years ago, it only sounds like the latest digital recording. That, too, is exceptional. In fact, when this recording was discovered, it was reviewed as “official bootleg can be released as it is”, but that word still applies 22 years later. It is truly a superb recording that transcends time. It is a show unique to 1997 that is depicted with such a timeless sound. Now, let’s organize the contents of the set. ●KNIGHTS OF THE NEW THUNDER (2 songs)・Break The Ice/Seven Seas ●TELL NO TALES (3 songs)・As Far As The Eye Can Sea/10,000 Lovers (In One)/Everyone’s A Star●INTUITION (5 songs)・Tonight I’m Falling/Caught Between The Tigers/Forever Shine On/Intuition/A Nation Free ●FIREFLY (8 songs) ・Only The Thief (Whistles At Night)/Somebody Told You/Angels Ride/Firefly/Month Of Sundays/ Daisy Jayne/Moonflower/Sunless Star ●Others・Downhill Racer『REALIZED FANTASIES』/Instrumental…And so it goes like this. Plenty of famous songs from the first three works “KNIGHTS OF THE NEW THUNDER”, “TELL NO TALES” and “INTUITION” will be played, but the main focus is the new work “FIREFLY” at the time. The volume covers 8 of the 12 songs on the album. This is a set that could only exist in 1997. And even more than that set is the band’s performance. Overflowing with the desire and momentum to make a fresh start, he is simply powerful. Especially Tony Harnel. “FIREFLY” is his favorite album, and he is passionate about sharing this number with the world, and his vocals are amazing. When sung gently, it’s beautiful, and when it barks, it’s very powerful. This week we will also be restocking the superb soundboard “RETURN TO FANTASY (Langley-273)” which recorded the farewell performance in 1992, but this work wins in terms of singing. Furthermore, Ronnie Le Techlo is also intense. In this work, the guitar is captured in great detail, and both the flowing melodies and the technical rampage come to your ears in an unusually vivid way. “FIREFLY” was controversial at the time, but the stage was filled with excitement as it was a new sound and the beginning of a fresh start. New songs and classics filled with that enthusiasm. 1997 TNT that you can enjoy right now. The super best live album.
