Description

THOMPSON TWINS in 1984, who rose to the darlings of the era with the huge hit of “INTO THE GAP”. Here is the best multi-camera pro shot where you can witness their live in Japan. [The best Japanese performance pro shot] This work is a superb board that compiles various pro shots from their golden age. The main event is their legendary first visit to Japan, “May 26, 1984: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall”. First, let’s check the show position from the schedule at that time. May 24: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall May 25: Osaka Mainichi Hall May 26: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall (day session) May 26: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall (night session) A total of four performances. Two performances were held on “May 26”, day and night, and a certain public broadcasting station recorded a pro shot. It was broadcast on the famous program “Young Music Show”. I don’t know if it’s a day or night performance, or an excerpt from both, but this work is the best air check master. The quality is overwhelming. It’s an air check from 34 years ago, so it can’t be helped if it’s blurry… but that’s normal. However, this work is not about that, it is vivid and super beautiful even to the eyes of today’s digital heyday. The image beauty that you can’t imagine being digitized from the recording master itself is extremely clear, and the color is exactly the same as it was at the time, without any noise or deterioration over time, let alone color bleeding. What is surprising is the fineness of the details. The neon night view video is sandwiched in the production (is it the night part?), and the members are wearing fluorescent costumes, but how vivid the brilliance is. “Doctor! Doctor!”, “Storm On The Sea”, and “Hold Me Now” have Japanese subtitles for the lyrics, and “Love On Your Side” has a brief history subtitle, but the outline is also clear to the digital class. If there was no familiar program logo, I would have suspected that the broadcasting station master had leaked. The quality is a synth pop filled with the brilliance of the prime. Although there are eight songs from the broadcast slot, five of them, which are more than half of them, are “INTO THE GAP” numbers. The previous work “Lies” and “Love On Your Side” and “In The Name Of Love”, which will also be provided for the movie “Ghostbusters”, are inserted there. All except “Storm On The Sea” are single numbers, and it is a luxury that is truly “the best album to see with your eyes”. [Golden Age TV Pro Shot Collection] Such a Japanese performance alone is wonderful, but this work contains many more superb pro shots as bonuses. The first to appear is “Hold Me Now” when appearing on the famous program “TOP OF THE POPS”. The song title has “4” attached to it, which means that it was ranked 4th in the UK. Although it is a feature of the program to be mime, unlike the stage of the Japanese performance, the bright station studio is super colorful in every corner. You can see them in the middle of their big hit. Next are four live songs from their appearance on the famous program “THE TUBE”. This is also a station studio, but it is a concert style with an audience. Although all the footage recorded in this work is superb, this footage combines the brightness unique to a broadcasting station with a stage-like performance. It is a masterpiece video that even has the dignity of a completely official work. All four songs are a must-see, but I am especially happy with “Sister of Mercy”. It is a number that was not seen even at the main Japanese performance, and this work allows you to witness the live version of six of the nine songs of “INTO THE GAP”. [Historic “LIVE AID 1985” Pro Shot] The last recorded is the major event of the century, “LIVE AID”. They appeared at JFK Stadium from 19:21, and the two songs “Hold Me Now” and “Revolution” are recorded with the best air check master. “Revolution,” which features Madonna, Nile Rodgers, and Steve Stevens, is also great, but “Hold Me Now” is more delicious. This event has also been made into an official DVD, but it is a precious professional shot that cannot be seen there. From the legendary first visit to Japan, to the hit TV appearance, and the historic “LIVE AID 1985”. This is a piece that runs through their heyday with about 86 minutes of professional shots. Both are masterpieces spelled out by masters who update the highest peaks ever. Live at Koseinenkin Kaikan, Tokyo, Japan 26th May 1984 PRO-SHOT (86:07) 1. The Gap 2. Doctor! Doctor! 3. Lies 4.
