This stereo soundboard recording of the 1976 “JAILBREAK” US tour at the Riviera Theater in Chicago on April 21st was recorded by Radio On Air Master. Although it is not complete because it is a broadcast recording, it is a precious live performance from the time when the band suddenly became a world-class top band after their previous album “FIGHTING” was a smash hit and the album became a huge hit, selling over 2 million copies worldwide. The performance is full of youthful energy, starting with “Jailbreak”, and continuing with the now rare tunes “It’s Only Money” and “Warrior”, “Emerald” featuring beautiful twin leads by Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson, the smash hit “The Boys Are Back in Town”, and “Sha-La-La” featuring Brian Downey’s solo, which was unique to this time. 01.
