This is an official, unreleased live performance by Thelonious Monk, the genius jazz pianist who created the jazz standard “‘Round Midnight,” and his quartet, recorded in Stockholm, Sweden on March 5, 1963, on a superb stereo soundboard recording with official quality. The performance features hard bop tenor Charlie Rouse, bassist John Orr, and drummer Frankie Dunlop, who deliver a wonderful performance.
