The tragedy of The Who’s December 3, 1979 Cincinnati concert, a historic event in rock history, is remembered for a momentous occasion: fans waiting outside the venue mistook the soundcheck for the start of the concert, leading to a stampede that resulted in 11 fatalities. This compilation includes footage from the concert and their US tour. While still shot on 8mm film, the footage is in excellent condition. Because the tragedy occurred before the concert began, the band members were unaware of the incident and the show continued as normal.
