Description
Several performances of The Who’s 1975 winter American tour were videotaped using semi-professional equipment using 2-inch VCRs. Among them, the famous Seattle and Pontiac performances were partially used in the movie “The Kids Are Alright,” and the Texas performances were released as a half-official version. Among them, the master tape shot of the Cleveland performance recorded in this work has been lost, and only the advanced tape that was copied on the official side remains. The live video compilation “Maximum R&B” includes footage from the Cleveland performance for only two songs, but the fact that the footage was recorded in black and white and enlarged suggests that no tapes in good condition remain. I understand. Of the three 1975 performances that can be viewed today, the Cleveland performance is said to have the best performance, but until now it has only been possible to view it as a pale, noise-filled video. . Furthermore, the sound quality was such that hiss noise covered the performance, making it not very enjoyable to watch. This time, both the video and audio have been remastered using the latest technology, and the quality has been significantly improved. Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland, OH USA December 9, 1975 01.
