Description

Live performances on September 13th, 14th, and 16th, the first three days of the Who’s 1979 New York performance, where they performed at the large venue Madison Square Garden for five days early in their first American tour in three and a half years. Introducing a 6-disc CD title that completely records all three performances with previously unreleased audience recordings of the highest quality. Uses the popular “JEMS master sound source”. The sound quality is similar for all three performances, and each one is of the highest quality that is difficult to rank (the third day is especially wonderful). The performance on the first day, September 13th, was recorded for the first time in the past with the CDR title “Cat’s In The Cupboard” (Massive Attack), but the sound quality was quite crisp, and the recorder stopped the tape between each song, so it was mostly recorded. It was a dissatisfying content that the beginning of the song was recorded. On the contrary, this edition is recorded with the highest sound quality, and there are no cuts in the songs, so it can definitely be said to be the definitive edition of this day. After I Can’t Explain, Roger was the first MC to introduce new members Rabbit and Kenny. In the second half of the show, which is a daily menu, they performed an impromptu song called Blue Black White Red in the jam part of the second half of My Generation. The song went to Relay as a medley, and then to Magic Bus, where you could listen to a nearly 10-minute incandescent performance. The medley concludes with Won’t Get Fooled Again, and the flow around here is similar to the second day of the New Jersey performance. Following Summertime Blues, Cat’s In The Cupboard, who also performed at Pete’s solo live earlier, appeared. At the end of the show, Naked Eye surprisingly plays only this day at the MSG5 performance. The second day’s performance on September 14th is extremely valuable as it has never been made into a live CD. On this day, Let’s See Action, an impromptu song called Blue Blue Blue, Black, White, and Join Together are included. The last one is Young Man Blues and The Real Me, which follows the flow of the first performance in New Jersey. The performance on September 16th, the third day, was made into an analog version of “The Who” (FD 59140-2), and an edited version of the analog version was later released, so this is the first time that this performance has been made into a CD. . Since this day is Kenny’s birthday, before Baba O’Riley, Roger sings Happy Birthday throughout the venue. In the second half of the show, Dreaming From The Waist will be played after My Generation, and the new song Dance It Away will be played. The listening area will be an encore performance of Shakin’ All Over and Big Boss Man, a long improvisational performance lasting over 20 minutes. The former leads to Spoonful, Blue, Red, Black, White, followed by the 7-minute Big Boss Man, followed by That’s Rock And Roll, which is also nearly 7 minutes long, and has a jam-like excitement that can be said to be the true essence of Who, with a great sense of separation. You can enjoy it with the highest sound quality. All three days have been filled with shows that are worth listening to, and the sound quality is all at the highest level, so it is definitely a must-listen for fans.
