Description
This nearly complete recording of the October 27th San Diego performance from the first North American farewell tour of 1982 is available for 1 hour and 51 minutes from the original audience master recording by Marco Mohr, a legendary California taper active from the mid-1980s to early 1990s, around the same time as Mike Millard. Recorded from an original master recording owned by the legendary California taper, who was active from the mid-1980s to early 1990s, this recording was never traded until recently, when a renowned collector released it, bringing back a number of precious live recordings from high-quality recording tape. The quality is almost on par with the Millard tapes, and this title recreates the day’s performance with stadium-like sound. The entire performance was overflowing with energy, and it seemed as though they were finally going to call it a day. Looking back, it’s hard to believe, but their energy remained strong until the very end. Live at Jack Murphy Stadium, San Diego, CA, USA 27th October 1982. Disc 1: 1. Substitute 2. I Can’t Explain 3.
