Description
The Glasgow performance on the first day of the 1982 final tour titled “BEAT SURRENDRER ’82” is now available with significantly improved sound quality from the new excavated master! On November 25, 1982, just before the band disbanded, the live performance on the first day of the 1982 final tour entitled “BEAT SURRENDRER ’82” was held at the Apollo Seattle in Glasgow, Scotland. NIGHT OF THE FAREWELL BEAT SURRENDER ’82 TOUR” was recorded as a monaural audience recording, but in this work it reappears as an upgraded version recorded from a newly discovered source recorded with a good stereo audience recording! Digitized directly from the master cassette, the vocals are clear and loud, and each part including the support member’s chorus and horns are recorded in a well-balanced manner. The white noise caused by the master has been removed and the sound quality has been further improved by remastering. The set list changes every time on this tour, but on this day they played the coupling number “The Great Depression” from the single “JUST WHO IS THE 5 O’CLOCK HERO?” and their debut single “In The City” for the encore. You can’t miss it! Of course, just like the previously released version, it includes a complete uncut recording from the announcement calling the opening band to the in-house SE announcing the end of the performance.
