Description

~1982 “Combat Rock US Tour” New York performance is newly released as an upgraded edition from high-quality new master! ~Immediately after the release of the album “Combat Rock”, they added the first drummer, Terry Chimes, who was suddenly called in due to the accident of Topper Headon’s dismissal, and began supporting The Who from the end of September. In October, it expanded to Shea Stadium, which was officially released, but it was released on September 2, 1982, just before he started supporting The Who, at the time of his appearance at the “Dr. Pepper Music Festival”. The standard sound source, which includes a complete high-quality stereo audience recording of the live performance and also includes the sound check of the day, is now available as an upgraded edition from the new excavation master! ! On the final day of the three-day festival held at an outdoor venue along the Hudson River in New York, a local journalist said, “The Clash rocked with rock, rap, reggae, hip-hop, and the latest sounds!” A superb live show that was highly praised. Even the previously released version had a well-balanced sound from low to high frequencies, and was recorded with the highest quality sound at the time, but by using the Low Gene Master, you can enjoy an even wider range of clear sound. ! With a set list that included the rare “Car Jamming”, Terry Chimes’ drumming was called in at short notice, and despite the limited rehearsal period, his drumming was superb, making it a superb live performance that can be declared one of the best! !
