Description
Recorded in good stereo audience recording from Rougene Master from the 2nd period Crash 1984 Norwegian performance by the 5-member group! Following Topper, the Clash also lost Mick Jones, leaving them with just Joe and Paul. Pete Howard, who had played drums at the 1983 US Festival, and Vince White and Nick Shepherd on guitar. The 5-piece group started anew with the addition of “The Out of Control Tour” of 1984, which was the second stage of Clash’s “Out of Control Tour”, and was held on February 16th at an indoor arena located in Drammen, Norway, with a capacity of approximately 4,000 to 6,000 people. Recorded live performance with good stereo audience recording. Recorded from Low Gene Master, it has a rough but clear sound quality with good grain, the vocals are loud, and the guitar is recorded with a loud and impressive sound quality that contains the floor sound. Misalignment in localization caused by the master has also been carefully corrected. (A few seconds of Janie Jone’s ending part are missing due to a tape change.) It is recorded from the middle of the opening MC by Cosmo Vinyl, and is a new song that will be included in the infamous “CUT THE CRAP” released the following year. The set list includes “Are You Ready For War?”, “The Dictator”, “This Is England”, and the rare unreleased number “Glue Zombie”. The Clash have rarely been talked about since their album “CUT THE CRAP,” but the live performances from this period, which continued to evolve without stopping even in the absence of Topper and Mick, are a great show that proves to be the last appearance of the true Clash.
