Description

From the US tour after the release of the album “COMBAT ROCK” in 1982, the live performance at Boston’s Orpheum Theater on July 9th was recorded as a soundboard sound source from the FM On Air Master. Although it is not a complete album because it is a broadcast recording, it was half a year after the only performance in Japan that year, and above all, just before the album was released, drummer Topper Headon was fired due to drug problems, and he suddenly provided support for early drummer Terry Chimes. It turned out to be a valuable tour. As a result, they performed intensely as if they had returned to the time of their debut, starting with the opening song “London Calling”, which was a classic at this time, as well as the same album number, Willie Williams’ cover song “Armagedon Time”, and after that. “Should I Stay Or Should I Go” is a parade of killer tunes. In addition, the following year, with the departure of Mick Jones, this was the last performance just before the band collapsed, and like the legendary Japan performance, this is also a must-listen item. 01.
