Description

Lord Reith has released the first two albums from his original remix work of the Beatles’ first four albums, which has become his life’s work, but this time, a new mix of the latter two albums has been released. Unlike the first two albums, these albums were recorded in stereo using a 4-track recorder, so they don’t have that old-fashioned stereo image. However, perhaps as a vestige of the two-track era, the basic sense of playing on the left and vocals on the right remained the same. Therefore, the first version that Lord Reith tried was made into a CD, “THE FIRST FOUR ALBUMS IN SPECTRAL STEREO REMIX”. Unlike the first two discs, which were too clearly separated into left and right, the latter two discs have a richer stereo image for the reason mentioned above. So from the time we tried out the first version, Lord Reith had the concept of pulling the rhythm section out from the left and placing it in the middle. Among them, “A HARD DAY’S NIGHT” was extremely complete even on the first try. For example, in “And I Love Her,” the bongos played by Ringo were moved to the middle, which was one of our biggest achievements, and in “Tell Me Why,” Paul’s bass sounded so pleasantly from the center. . Therefore, the main body of Lord Reith’s second try “A HARD ~” is limited to the rearrangement of some songs. In “If I Fell”, the sound of John’s acoustic guitar, which was a little pushed by the rhythm section, is surprisingly dug up, and the overall stereo image is so stunning that you might be confused as to whether it was a recording with a larger number of tracks. Also, in the previous “And I Love Her”, the separation between John’s guitar sounding from the left side and the bongos moved to the middle was improved. It’s really amazing how today’s technology can separate things that were originally combined into the left channel to this extent. More than that, the highlights of this version are the various singles and session takes compiled after the album itself. First of all, the German version “Sie Liebt Dich”. The officially released version was mixed in a way that would make you want to call it a 2-track stereo era, but here, the rhythm section is on the left, the guitars are on the right, and the vocals are in the middle, making for a rich mix. It transformed it into a stereo image. I think this is a mix worth listening to with headphones. Meanwhile, during the session, take 4 (released version) of “Can’t Buy Me Love” was double-tracked for songs such as “I Should Have Known Better” and “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You.” The best part about this version is that you can enjoy each song with only the first vocalist’s vivid singing voice. And for this release, we have added the session scene of the album title song “A Hard Day’s Night” from “MONOLONGER”, in which Lord Reith attempted to create a center mix of session sound sources. Here again, you can listen to Take 9, which is the released version, in its raw state before John and Paul’s songs are double tracked. Not only is the album itself completed in this way, but the naked vocal parts of each song in the second half are all surprisingly wonderful. This is the second version that will satisfy everyone from beginners to enthusiasts! THE BEATLES – A HARD DAY’S NIGHT: STEREO REMIX (REVISED EDITION)(1CD) (77:33) REMIXED STEREO ALBUM 01.
