Description

Tokyo 3DAYS left behind by the best live act of today. Three original recordings will be released at the same time. This work is the first of its kind. This is a super-excellent audience recording of the “June 14, 2019: Tokyo Dome City Hall” performance. A number of masterpiece recordings have been very popular, starting with the first album “AMAGASAKI 2019″ after meticulously arriving in Japan. Finally, three masterpieces worthy of permanent preservation have appeared. First of all, let’s organize the collection based on the dates of this visit to Japan.・June 11th “AMAGASAKI 2019” ・June 12th: Zepp Nagoya《June 13th: Move & Off》・June 14th: Tokyo Dome City Hall [This work]・June 15th “TOKYO 2019 2ND NIGHT” ・A total of 5 performances including “TOKYO 2019 FINAL NIGHT” on June 16th. Last week, the 6-disc set “TOKYO DOME CITY HALL 2019 6-disc set”, which completed the 3 Tokyo performances with the same recording artist collection, was also very popular, but this week, the peak audience recording of the 3 Tokyo performances will be released. Each is on CD. All of them are miracle products that exceed that 6-disc set. This work is the first edition. Of course, since it exceeds the 6-disc set that was the best edition, its quality is super-excellent. If you’ve purchased the 6-disc set, you might be wondering, “Is there more than that?”, but it’s true. Best of all is the rich and beautiful sound. The sound of the 6-disc set was nothing short of perfect, and the core that emerged from the luster was powerful and the edges were vivid. However, this work is even more detailed. If the sound of a 6-disc set is a “touchable” level, then this work has a “touchable” feel. Of course, the deep bass vibe that shakes the floor of the venue is similarly detailed, seamlessly drawing a mountain range up to the beautiful high notes that pierce the space of Tokyo Dome City Hall. What surprised me even more was the applause. I didn’t feel any discomfort when listening to the 6-disc set normally, but when I compared it to this work, there was a change in the sound during loud applause. It’s unclear whether it was the equipment settings or the recording artist himself, but was there a microscopic level of distortion at the moment the sound was struck? There was. However, this work does not even have that. Even if you pay close attention to the waveform and concentrate all your attention on your ears, the beautiful sound will flow naturally. It is a miraculous live album that not only has the highest sound quality, but also has an overwhelming 100% pure on-site feel. Wonderful things about the first day in Tokyo depicted with such sounds. I think there are many people who choose the show they actually saw from these three works, but another point to choose is the set list, which is different for all performances. Here, let’s organize the songs that will be performed on the first day. ●REVELATOR・Midnight In Harlem●MADE UP MIND・Do I Look Worried, Part of Me, Made Up Mind●LET ME GET BY・Don’t Know What It Means, I Want More●SIGNS/HIGH & MIGHTY・Signs, High Times, High & Mighty, Shame ●Cover etc.・The Letter (THE BOX TOPS), Down In The Flood (Bob Dylan), Somebody Pick Up My Pieces (Willie Nelson), I Pity The Fool (Bobby Bland), Statesboro Blues (Blind Willie McTell: co-starred with Don Was) *Original artist is in parentheses… and so on. The sets for all performances this time in Japan are drastically different, so it’s hard to describe their characteristics in one word, but if I had to say, it would be “orthodox.” During this visit to Japan, the song that was played the most was 3 out of 5 performances. On this first day, there were many such “three times” songs, and the set included 6 songs: “Midnight in Harlem,” “Made Up Mind,” “Part of Me,” “I Want More,” “Shame,” and “Signs, High Times.” Overall, it is a symbolic show of 2019, close to the Amagasaki performance and the last day of Tokyo. Of course, since it’s TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND, there are plenty of rare cover songs. In particular, Santana’s “Soul Sacrifice”, Blind Willie McTell’s “Statesboro Blues”, and Bobby Bland’s “I Pity the Fool” are the only numbers for the first day in Tokyo among the five performances. Moreover, there is another point that “Statesboro Blues” does not have in other performances. Don Was will appear as a guest. He is the current president of Blue Note and came to Japan for the Japan premiere of the movie “Blue Note Records: Beyond Jazz.” You can also experience that precious co-starring with super-excellent sound. In contrast to “TOKYO DOME CITY HALL 2019”, where the three performances were carried out with the same sense of unity by the same recording artist, the three titles are the “top” of each performance. Among them, it is a super original master only for this work that records the first day where you can enjoy the precious guest co-starring. Tokyo Dome City Hall, Tokyo, Japan 14th June 2019 TRULY PERFECT/ULTIMATE SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (76:15) 1. Intro. 2. Signs, High Times 3. Do I Look Worried 4. Don’t Know What It Means 5.
