Tedeschi Trucks Band/MA,USA 2021

This is the latest live recording of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, which began touring in the summer of 2021. The recording from August, when the tour first began, was released by the same label, but it was still a warm-up and the lineup was small. In the latest recording, a horn section has been added and the trademark twin drums have been revived. Each member’s engine is warmed up and they are in full throttle. The set starts with The Beatles’ “I’ve Got a Feeling” and the second set features Derek & The Dominos’ “Bell Bottom Blues” and “Love is a Sad Thing”. There are plenty of highlights, including Derek’s specialty Coltrane’s “Afro Blue”. Another highlight worth mentioning is Neil Young’s “Helpless”. Susan’s powerful vocals and Derek’s elegant slide guitar are exquisite. Mike Mathison, Mark Rivers, Alicia Charcoal and others also feature lead vocals on some songs, making this the culmination of the 2021 tour. Although it is an audience recording, it is a high-quality sound source that can be called a sound board until you hear the cheers between songs.
