TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND is less than a month away from their first performance in Japan in three years. Derek’s guitar is precise even to the picking nuances, and Susan’s vocals are a breath-level reality. Of course, there are differences between the two days due to the difference in position, but there is also a sense of unity due to the same venue, the same equipment, and the same recorder. If the first day (Disc 1-2) is a super clear type, the second day “April 27th (Disc 3-4)” is a gorgeous type with a thick sound, and the personality and quality of the master that runs through it is not shaken in the slightest.
