Description

From the 1978 Japan tour, which was their first visit to Japan, the live performance at the Nippon Budokan on May 17th, the first day, is recorded in 94 minutes from the good audience master at that time. At that time, it was a time when they suddenly broke out with “DOUBLE LIVE GONZO!”, and although there were only three performances, the venue was filled with fierce and core heat because it was the Nippon Budokan. This title is a direct CD of the pattern from the master cassette recorded by the record company staff at the time, and although it is not a leaked sound board because it is a recording by related parties, the direct sound without a sense of distance is goosebumps. And the live performance is literally “LIVE GONZO IN JAPAN”, and it has almost the same composition as that live album, and on top of that, “Dog Eat Dog”, “Cat Scratch Fever”, “Hey Baby”, “Free For All”, “Snakeskin Cowboys”, “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang”, and “Name Your Poison”, these seven songs have not been officially recorded. The legendary first live performance in Japan is here in the best quality. Disc 1: 1. Just What The Doctor Ordered 2. Yank Me, Crank Me 3. Dog Eat Dog 4. Cat Scratch Fever 5. Hey Baby 6. Free For All 7. Snakeskin Cowboys 8. Wang Dang Sweet Poontang 9. Name Your Poison Disc 2: 1. Hibernation 2. Stormtroopin’ 3. Stranglehold 4. Motor City Madhouse 5. Gonzo 6. Baby Please Don’t Go [Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 17th May 1978] Ted Nugent – Lead Guitar & Vocals / Charlie Huhn – Guitar & Vocals / John Sauter – Bass / Cliff Davies – Drums
