Singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega, who emerged from the Greenwich Village folk scene in New York, released her second album “Solitude Standing” which won a platinum disc in 1987. On July 2nd, after the release of her album, “Solitude Standing”, a live performance at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York was recorded in full with a superb level of ultra-high quality audience recording. Eight songs from “Solitude” are set in, including the a cappella version of “Tom’s Diner” and the masterpiece “Luca” about child abuse.
