Description
Staff Live! A new classic sound source has arrived! The live performance of STUFF, held on April 29, 1979 at My Father’s Place in NY, has been completely recorded with the highest sound quality, with 24-bit digital remastering applied to the pre-FM stereo soundboard master! From the sound check “Happy Farms” performed before the broadcast to the encore “Mighty Love”, we will deliver all of the gems of the golden age STUFF performance, which lasts for a total of nearly 77 minutes, in a definitive sound with a remaster that shines! In 2011, even Cornell Dupree passed away, and only three members of the rhythm section are still alive, the legendary supergroup STUFF. With this title, the official-class perfect stereo separation allows you to clearly see the details of the play of the five people of the past (Chris Parker is also in the group photo on the jacket, but he is Gadd’s drum). In particular, the reproduction of Dupree and Gale’s twin guitars from the left and right channels in front of you is a magnificent word! The performance was also flawless! Everyone was on full blast throughout the entire album, and in the t-07 jam, a riff from West Coast giant Larry Carlton’s “Don’t Give It Up” pops out, condensing the hot, passionate sounds that are unique to the heyday of fusion sound! ◆My Father’s Place, Old Roslyn, NY 29th April 1979 01.
