Following their stunning comeback with the release of “BLAST OFF!”, the Stray Cats’ 1990 California performance is captured in a high-quality stereo audience recording! After finally reuniting in 1988, the Stray Cats released their fifth album, “BLAST OFF!”, the following year. Following a nearly year-long promotional tour, the band resumed touring in late February 1990. This release features a live performance at The Strand, a nightclub in Redondo Beach, California, on March 3, 1990, early in the tour. This newly unearthed recording features a complete, high-quality stereo audience recording! Digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, the sound quality is considered top-notch for the time, with exceptional balance in both vocals and all parts, a wide range, and a deep, clear sound. Pitch imperfections caused by the master have been carefully corrected. The set included “Broken Man” from the 1986 album “Rock Therapy,” “Let’s Go Faster,” “Tight Black Leather,” and “Give It To Me” from Brian’s sixth album, “Let’s Go Faster,” which was released a few months later. It also included “That Someone Just Ain’t You,” a track recorded at the time but not included on “Let’s Go Faster” that later appeared on Brian’s solo album, “Nitro Burnin’ Funny Daddy,” and the unreleased rare “Can’t Stand Losing You.” The set also featured a barrage of four covers in a row!
