A new excavated sound source that includes a good audience recording of the live performance held at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California on August 21st from the 1982 US tour that coincided with the release of the best album “Built For Speed” is now available for the first time. ! Digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, recorded with a wide range of clear and good sound quality. Each part, including vocals and chorus, is recorded in a well-balanced manner. There is a few seconds missing in “Rumble In Brighton”, but other than that it is completely recorded. On this day, the live performance was held after an in-store live performance at Tower Records in West Hollywood (included on the label’s previously released album “RUMBLE IN MADRID plus”). The set list includes the familiar opening SE, and includes the new song “Built For Speed.”The covers that were played daily on this tour include Gene Vincent’s “Important Words,” and a cover of the Supremes. You Can’t Hurry Love”, Brian’s idol Eddie Cochran’s “C’mon Everybody”, and “Somethin’ Else” were selected. At the end of “Rev It Up & Go”, Brian’s guitar could not be heard due to equipment trouble. Although there are some incidents where the audience gets excited, you can enjoy the best performance.
