Description
~A rare sound source completely recorded with good stereo audience recording of the legendary Nagoya performance on the 4th day of the first performance in Japan is now available! ~February 16, 1979, the 4th day of the legendary first performance in Japan, held at Nagoya City Public Hall. The live sound source was included in the same label’s already released album “NAGOYASHIKOKAIDO 1979” which included FM sound source, and 11 songs were in good stereo.・Although it was recorded with a sound board recording, this work uses a source recorded with a very good stereo audience recording and is completely recorded from the opening to the last! (Only the second half of “Toiler On The Sea” is missing due to a tape change.) The range is wide and not only the vocals but also each part is well balanced and clear from low to high frequencies. Recorded with good sound quality! At the Tokyo performance in the second half of The Stranglers’ first visit to Japan, which had a total of seven performances, security was tight and there was an incident where Jean punched a seated audience member, but this day’s Nagoya performance was similar to the Kyoto performance the day before. The audience was enthusiastic, and they played songs such as “Ugly,” “Straighten Out,” “Sometimes,” and “No More Heroes,” which were not heard on the same label’s previously released album “KYOTO UNIVERSITY 1979,” which recorded the live show from the previous day’s Kyoto performance. Including 20 songs, approximately 77 minutes, you can listen to the whole story of this day! 01.Tuning 02.Five Minutes 03.Dead Loss Angeles 04.Toiler On The Sea(Incomplete) 05.Ugly 06.Burning Up Time 07.Sometimes 08.Straighten Out 09.Dead Ringer 10.Bring On The Nubile 11.Hanging Around 12.No More Heroes 13.Curfew 14.Threatened 15.Dagenham Dave 16.Nice ‘N’ Sleazy 17.Do You Wanna? 18.Death & Night & Blood 19.Tank 20.London Lady 21.Down In The Sewer
