Description
The second day of the two performances at Nippon Budokan on April 21st and 22nd, 2017, which was their first performance in four years, was recorded in a complete 93-minute soundboard-level audience recording. First, the recording was made using a high-end microphone called Schopes MK41, from the best position in the front row of the 1st floor south stand, and the musical tones were very clear, and you could even feel the touch of Mani’s bass and Reni’s percussion. And this performance in Japan was the best since the reunion! The performance was also highly praised, and the set list included all the songs from “THE STONE ROSES” including the bonus tracks, as well as the three songs from “SECOND COMING”, “Sally Cinnamon” and “Mersey Paradise”, which are irresistible for fans from the 1980s. They then added their first new song in 21 years, “All For One,” and the final song, “I Am the Resurrection,” had the audience saturated, and as soon as they moved from the drum solo to that rhythm-keeping part, the octagonal space erupted and the entire venue was filled with singing along, bringing their first solo performance in 22 years to a close.
