This is a complete recording of the sound checks from the 3-day Nippon Budokan tour in 2017, which was held in conjunction with the release of the album “57TH & 9TH”. While the main live performance of the 3-day tour has already been released by the same label in a multi-IEM matrix recording, this time the rehearsals for all three days are fully matrixed with the line sound source from the in-ear monitor source used by the band members and the digital audience master, and this is also at the quality of a completely stereo soundboard sound source. First of all, disc:1 contains the rehearsal on the first day, and the process of repeatedly and carefully polishing “Mad About You”, which was incorporated into the set from this tour, is interesting, and Rufus’ guitar approach and Sting’s instructions to the chorus line of the last Bandoleros are as serious as if they were in a real performance.
