Description

“MY SONGS JAPAN TOUR” made Japan excited with its ultimate best set. The transcendental original recording, which is the masterpiece, is now available. Starting with the first album “MAKUHARI 2019”, masterpiece recordings have been popping up from all over the country, but this work is one of the pinnacles that conquers them all. This is a super-excellent audience recording of the “October 10, 2019: Makuhari Messe” performance. It is a masterpiece that transcends even the dimension of which show it was recorded at, but this week other performances will be released and rushed at the same time. For collectors, let’s organize the sound sources by date. ・October 7th: Fukuoka International Center ・October 9th “MAKUHARI 2019” DISC 1-2 ・October 10th: Makuhari Messe ←★This work★ ・October 13th “SENDAI 2019” ・October 15th “ OSAKA 2019” *Note: Only representative works are shown on each day. That’s all 5 performances. In this way, our store now has live albums from all performances, except for the first day in Fukuoka. However, please do not misunderstand me here. The dimension on which this work stands is not “one of a collection lined up”. It is “a peak with nothing to stand on.” Of course, our collection is full of masterpieces made by masters and masters from all over Japan. All of them go above and beyond the world’s highest level of Japanese recording standards. However, even within that, this work is on a different level. The person who provided this work is a master craftsman who has produced a series of great masterpieces, but even in the collection of such a person, it is outstanding. In addition to “recording technology” and “on-site sound,” it is a miraculous transcendental recording that even “luck of time” was on your side. It ended up being all about image words, but the sound of this work is really amazing. Everything is at zero distance and in close contact, so it is suitable to be called “just like a sound board,” but if it ends with that, it would be disrespectful to the sound source. From the pleasantly extended high notes to the heavy bass, everything is glossy, and the strength of the core and the vibe of the subtle parts are clear. Not only the prominent sounds such as drums, guitar, and vocals, but also the male and female chorus singing and slight percussion are neatly separated. Even when using the bass (even though the volume is not particularly high), you can feel the bouncing groove at the vibration level of the strings. The ultra-high sound quality is surprising the moment you hear it, but it’s even more surprising because it doesn’t make the slightest movement. From before the performance to the end, I didn’t feel the slightest vibration, and of course there was no chatter or cracking. It also absorbs real (yet modest) applause, and if you analyze it microscopically, there are traces of space in the elongation of the moment when the vocals disappear. However, there is a sense of separation as if each instrument was recorded in multiple ways, a sense of closeness that makes it hard to believe that the sound was once output from the speakers, and a sense of stability that feels as if the atmosphere is frozen. The sound that brings all of these together makes me wonder, “Is this really a spatial recording through the air?” What is depicted with such miraculous sound is the ultimate best song selection show that condenses Sting’s life. The set changed slightly on this visit to Japan, but this work is the most standard one among them. As I introduced in the commentary for “MAKUHARI 2019,” this work will be passed down as an eternal masterpiece, so let’s review it again. ●THE POLICE (9 songs)・OUTLANDOS D’AMOUR: So Lonely/Roxanne・REGGATTA DE BLANC: Message In A Bottle/Walking On The Moon・ZENYATTA MONDATTA: Driven to Tears・GHOST IN THE MACHINE: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic・SYNCHRONICITY:Wrapped Around Your Finger/Every Breath You Take/King Of Pain ●Solo and others (11 songs)・THE DREAM OF THE BLUE TURTLES:If You Love Somebody Set Them Free・…NOTHING LIKE THE SUN:Englishman In New York /Fragile・TEN SUMMONER’S TALES:If I Ever Lose My Faith In You/Seven Days/Fields Of Gold/Shape Of My Heart・BRAND NEW DAY:Brand New Day/Desert Rose・SACRED LOVE:Whenever I Say Your Name・44/ 876: If You Can’t Find Love A rush of gorgeous masterpieces, fresh and deep arrangements that don’t feel out of place, an ironclad ensemble, and Sting’s singing voice that doesn’t seem to have weakened at the age of 68… Sting has always been at a high level, but even in his career, this time it feels special. Currently, there is a storm of praise for the Japan performance that just ended, and this work is an eternal live album that captures such a show with miraculous sound. The audience recording immediately after coming to Japan is a memory of the show that they attended. There are many people who are looking for it, but this work is not on that level. It doesn’t matter which show you actually see, or even if you haven’t seen it at all, it’s the pinnacle. It is truly the masterpiece of the performance in Japan… No, it is a super masterpiece of 2019 that will become a symbol of “MY SONGS TOUR” worldwide. Even if you ignore my feelings as a Japanese person, this is a wonderful piece of music that rivals “MY SONGS” itself.
