This 1 hour and 53 minute recording features the full live performance at Ariake Arena on September 15th, the second day in Tokyo, from the six-date “STING 3.0 Tour” in 2025. Recorded with state-of-the-art digital equipment directly under the PA system in the front row of the arena, the sound is perfectly mixed, capturing the band sound, Sting’s vocals, and the cheers of the audience in perfect balance. The “3.0 Tour,” which began touring around the world last year, has finally arrived in Japan. While the official “3.0 LIVE” release had been released by then, it’s easy to imagine the content would be similar, with the set having been significantly altered. These include Police numbers such as “So Lonely,” “Walking On The Moon,” “King Of Pain,” and “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” as well as solo numbers such as “Fragile,” “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You,” “Heavy Cloud No Rain,” “A Thousand Years,” “Desert Rose,” and “Mad About You,” which were not officially available. While the set is basically fixed, in the middle of the first day in Kobe it was “Heavy Cloud No Rain,” and on the first day in Tokyo it was “Fortress Around Your Heart,” but on this day it was “When We Dance,” and this part seems to be a daily changing set. This is a Japan-only memorial item that perfectly reproduces the final performance in Tokyo at the soundboard level.
