Description

After the dissolution of The Police, he released his first solo album, “Blue Turtle Dreams” in 1985. The first live performance, which was held at the Ritz in New York on February 25th, was his first solo stage in preparation for his subsequent world tour. This is a complete recording of the best quality, digitally remastered from the original audience master recently discovered. After all, this is a valuable record of his first live performance, full of jazz flavor, backed by top musicians such as Branford Marsalis, Omar Hakim, and Daryl Jones. And while Police numbers such as “Roxanne” and “Message of Solitude” are also introduced, the main performance is of course from “Blue Turtle Dreams,” and the wonderful performance unique to this period is perfectly reproduced here.
