Description
From the world tour accompanying the release of the album “57TH & 9TH” which declared a return to rock in 2016, the Amsterdam performance on April 5th during the European tour which started in March 2017 is recorded completely by digital audience recording. The soundboard-level quality perfectly captures the atmosphere of the entire venue, and the opening act THE LAST BANDOLEROS and Joe Sumner (Sting’s son) are also well recorded, and the Japan performance scheduled for June of the same year will be a joint performance of these three groups, so it’s perfect to check in advance. And the main Sting live performance is basically the same as the previous US tour, but “The Empty Chair” from the same album is dropped from the set, and instead “I Hung My Head”, “Fields Of Gold” and “Fragile” are set in, so in addition to the volume up, it’s nice to see the number of representative songs increase. Fans should check it out for that and other aspects in preparation for the Japan performance. Disc 1 : 1.
