This rare 1992 studio rehearsal recording from Steve Perry, Journey’s vocalist during their heyday in the ’70s and ’80s, is here for the first time! Discovered in the archives of bassist Phil Chen, known for his work with Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, and numerous other session and touring bands, the slightly distorted, approximately 90-minute recording was recorded on a stereo soundboard. This session preceded Perry’s solo album, “Strange Medicine,” released in 1994 after leaving Journey. It includes tracks from the album, including “Listen to Your Heart,” as well as Journey classics “Send Her My Love” and “Faith Free.” This newly unearthed recording is a must-have for fans!
