From the 2015 solo UK tour, the Northampton performance on October 9th is completely recorded from the soundboard level digital audience master. First of all, the new concept tour “ACOLYTE TO WOLFLIGHT WITH GENESIS REVISITED – THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE” started this September. ” refers to the solo “WOLFLIGHT” released in March 2015, and in other words, it is a tour that covers not only Genesis, but also the first solo to the latest work. And even though it is a solo summary, the show is not a classic and acoustic route, but is divided into three main sections, and the beginning features new songs from the new album “WOLFLIGHT”. The middle part is the masterpiece “VOYAGE OF THE ACOLYTE”, and the final part is dominated by Jessis’ famous songs, and in between, representative songs such as “PLEASE DON’T TOUCH”, “SPECTRAL MORNINGS”, and “DEFECTOR” are performed. This is irresistible content for fans. First of all, disc:1 features “WOLFLIGHT” in the first half of the solo part, and the title song of “SPECTRAL MORNINGS” and “Everyday” are inserted there. The following disc:2 is the second half of the solo part, and the main one here is the first solo “VOYAGE OF THE ACOLYTE”. They performed four songs from the same album, including “Jacuzzi” with guest appearance by John Hackett and the rare “Icarus Ascending”, and of course the final disc: 3 is Genesis Classic. The repertoire has been narrowed down to the Gabriel era, and the band is quite accomplished, and this time Roine Stolt, one of the most important figures in the modern progressive rock world, is not a guest, but a gorgeous lineup who plays bass and 12-string guitar as a regular. And, the breath with Nad is also perfect. This 2 hour and 35 minute concert is a complete reproduction of Hackett’s long career, with a beautiful sense of unity. Disc 1 : (First Set) 1.
