The live performance at EX Theater Roppongi on July 6th, the third and final day of the four performances in Japan of the 50th anniversary tour of “Broadway of the Dazzling” in 2025, was recorded in full for 2 hours and 44 minutes from the digital audience master released by Taper. Anyway, in 2025, after the release of “LIVE MAGIC AT TRADING BOUNDARIES”, he continues to be active, touring North America and Europe, and releasing “THE LAMB STANDS UP” immediately after arriving in Japan. In the meantime, his first performance in Japan in three years will be a show centered on the 50th anniversary of “Broadway of the Dazzling”. And as in the past, the first part of the live performance was a solo song, and this time he performed eight songs, mainly three songs from “The Secret Story of the Circus and the Night Whale”. And finally, the second part was the Genesis corner, mainly focusing on “Broadway of the Dazzling”, and nine songs from the album were played one after another in the order of the album, which was of course the highlight of this time. The encore was a wonderful flow with three consecutive Genesis songs, “Supper’s Ready”, “Firth Of Fifth” and “Los Endos (Slogans)”. Incidentally, in the official live album of the 2024 London performance, “Supper’s Ready” has been replaced with a solo song, and this set list is full of the service spirit unique to Japan. In addition, although all four performances this time were fixed sets, in Tokyo, there was a drum solo after “Firth of Fifth” in the encore part, but there was no drum solo in Osaka on the first day, so all three performances in Tokyo were long, exceeding 160 minutes in terms of performance time, and this is a Japan-only memorial item that reproduces such a hot and long last night in Japan with the best sound.
