This coveted two-disc live album features a stereo soundboard recording of the band’s performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, which kicked off the band’s 20th anniversary tour with the addition of saxophonist Bob Berg. The lineup, led by Mike Mainieri, includes Bob Berg, Mark Johnson, Eliane Elias, and Peter Erskine, all of whom are some of the greatest names in jazz and fusion music. The final track, “The Time Is Now,” is a masterpiece that exceeds 23 minutes. While the tour also released the album “Holding Together,” a compilation of live performances from various locations, this latest release is a single live performance with a unified feel.
