Description

This recording was taken from a recently unearthed good audience master from the 1974 US tour when the early masterpiece album “Pretzel Logic” was released, and was taken at the Orpheum Theater in Boston on April 18th. Although the sound source was already in circulation and is known for its great performance, this is the first time that a completely different master has appeared, and it is of higher quality and has a longer recording time, making it a definitive version. The live takes of valuable early numbers, including “Riki’s Phone Number” and “Do It Again,” which were big hits in the US, are all rare. The members include Jeff Baxter and Michael McDonald, who later joined the Doobie Brothers, and Jeff Vocalo on drums, so be sure to check out each of their playing, and since this is the last live performance in the band style, fans should listen to it. 01.
