Description
This is a shiny new broadcast sound source of Sonny Rollins that was just broadcast this year (2022). It was a live performance at the Jazz Festival in Marciac, France in 1989, and only a few songs were previously available as collector’s items. This time, it is the latest high-quality sound source and the definitive version with a significantly increased number of songs, including the encore “Tennessee Waltz”. In the same year, Rollins recorded his official album “Falling in Love with Jazz”, and although the guitarist was Bobby Bloom and the drummer was Marvin Smith, the rest of the members were almost the same as those who played the central role in that recording. Rollins blowing comfortably on stage with his familiar friends is a must-listen.
