Description

After the well-received performance in Japan in March 2015, the complete recording of the Milton Keynes performance in the UK on June 9th was recorded from Digital Audience Master. Since it was three months after the performance in Japan, the set was almost the same, and since the venue was a club with a capacity of 400 people, the sound was close and clear, and John Etheridge played a solo on “Hazard Profile”, improvisation. The sounds of Roy Babbington, who applies a delay to the bass to make it sound like a synth, and Theo Travis, who gives a powerful saxophone blow on “Fallout” and “Nodder”, are exactly like those seen at the Billboard Live in Japan. It’s like reproducing the vividness. What was different from the Japanese performance was the members, and although guest Keith Tippett was absent, John Marshall, who was unable to come to Japan due to poor health, had a large presence, which was different from Gary Husband. Marshall’s free-form style, which requires a lot of work, is a big point. In particular, the improvisation that mixes experiment and fantasy that can be heard in “Voyage Beyond Seven”, “Facelift”, and “Kings & Queen” is exceptional.Furthermore, the set list is considerably larger than the Japanese performance, and although the basic composition is the same, “The Tale of Taliesin” Instead of “The Steamer”, “Chloe And The Pirates”, “Song Of Aeolus”, “Grapehound”, and “As If”, there are 5 songs included, making it 108 minutes long, which is longer than Japan. . Disc 1 : 1. Intro 2. The Steamer 3. Hazard Profile 4. Member Introductions 5. Chloe And The Pirates 6. Voyage Beyond Seven 7. Song Of Aeolus 8. Grapehound Disc 2 : 1. Burden Of Proof 2. Facelift 3.
