Description
~Unreleased 1988 demo recorded by Stray Cats’ Slim Jim & Lee Rocker with LA musician Tim Torrance is now available! ~ In 1988, Slim Jim Phantom & Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats teamed up with Tim Torrance, a musician who mainly works on film music production, to record in LA, but the rare sound source was shelved! ! “Don’t Say If”, which was written for the movie “The Perfect Match” in the same year, was written by Tim, and the other eight songs were all written by Slim Jim and Lee Rocker. The sound quality is a very good stereo soundboard recording, and the result is very close to the finished product rather than a demo, and the mix is also perfect. It has a classic 80’s sound similar to 1985’s Phantom and Rocker & Slick, and Ian McLagan, who is also known for supporting the former Faces and Stones, participates on the keyboard on “Stick Around”. Except for “Stick Around” and “Rain On My Parade”, the drums are recorded, but Slim Jim himself is in charge of the programming. 01.Stick Around (Ian McLagan plays the piano) 02.Put Your Cards On The Table 03.Rain On My Parade 04.Don’t Say If (made it to a film “The Perfect Match” in 1988) 05.Heart Call 06.You Say 07.First Come, First Served 08.Take Me To The City 09.Falling Apart At The Seams
