The emperor SLYER has returned after two years. Here comes their latest and best live album. They released “REPENTLESS” in the fall of 2015 and visited Japan to participate in “LOUD PARK”. Two years later, they returned this year to perform on the first day of “LOUD PARK”. There was no new work in between, but as expected of the emperor, they are still very popular. This time, they will hold a solo performance in addition to “LOUD PARK 17”. This work is a super-excellent audience album of their only solo show “October 13, 2017: Namba Hatch performance”. Compared to “REPENTLESS IN OSAKA” from two years ago, which was hailed as a “miracle recording!”, this work does not give in half a step… or should I say, the clarity and sharpness of this work are better!? It is an ultra-excellent masterpiece that must be preserved forever. Of course, the person who made this famous recording is the familiar “Western Japan’s Strongest Taper”. As the name suggests, he knows all the live spots in Western Japan, but “Namba Hatch” is his favorite. Not only in his backyard, but it is a venue that he has been frequenting at the level of his own room. Positioning, equipment, settings… the “winning formula” has already been completely established. However, masters and masters do not stop evolving. This time, Mr. Strongest recorded with the same equipment as the previous work “REPENTLESS IN OSAKA”, but he also introduced new equipment. It was double recorded and a greater master was selected and provided. This work is an even better sound with the power of the new equipment. [The latest SLAYER that has become even more brutal] The sound is the same as always… or rather, it is an even stronger emperor metal than two years ago. The set has changed over the two years, and six songs have been replaced. The basics are still “1st-5th + 21st century”, but this time the focus is on the masterpiece “SEASONS IN THE ABYSS”, and five songs that make up half of the album are used. There are also old thrasher tears “The Antichrist” and “Fight Till Death”, as well as new songs “You Against You” and “Cast The First Stone”. And above all, the performance is amazing. Unlike two years ago when the new work had just been released, the level of skill has improved and the brutality has been spurred on. The 80s numbers are played at a super-fast tempo that exceeds that of the time, and the new songs “You Against You” and “Cast The First Stone” are even heavier than the album. Even though all the members are in their mid-50s, the power is incredible. This is truly the “strongest metal album of 2017”. SLAYER has not yet weakened and has become even more violent after a long career. This is their latest and greatest album. This alone is an extraordinary metal album, but let me introduce one that will make you feel even more deeply at the end. It is “OSAKA 2017 (Zodiac 250)” by MEGADETH and ANTHRAX, recorded in May of this year. This is also a superb product by the “strongest” man. You can collect three of the four heavenly kings by the same recording artist, but that’s not all.
