Description
A rare recording of a high-quality stereo audience recording of a Scottish performance in November 1982 when Robert Smith was enrolled! The Bungies, who replaced John McGough, who left the band due to his own problems with alcohol at the end of their Madrid gig in October 1982, with Robert Smith, who would later form the Cure, as guitarist, have released a rare recording of a live performance held at the Playhouse, a theater in Edinburgh, Scotland, on November 16th of the same year, in a high-quality stereo audience recording! It has been digitally transferred from the low-gene master, and each part, including the vocals, is recorded in a well-balanced manner with stable, clear, and good sound quality. The positioning deviation caused by the master has been carefully corrected. It is a shame that the intro part of the opening “Fireworks” is missing, but the rest is completely recorded. Featuring five tracks from the album “Kiss in the Dreamhouse” released just after the band’s release, and including “But Not Them” from the EP by The Creatures by Siouxsie and Budgie, this is a rare live performance from the time of Robert Smith, who only participated for a short time in the studio album “Hyena” released in 1984! Robert Smith joined the band as guitarist less than a month after McGough left, but at the same time he was also working with Steve Severin in The Globe, so the performance was very well coordinated.
