Description

The band released “Sound of Silence” the previous year and was on the verge of becoming known all over the US. This recording is from a soundboard source taken from the broadcast master, and features a performance in Buffalo, New York on January 2, 1967. The set list is fresh, including the rare B-side single “Your Cute Lie” and “Red Rubber Ball”, which was written for The Circle, which were unique to this time of year. Six months later, the band made a big break in Japan with their appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival, and many of their classic songs that have not faded even now will come back to your mind, even as times change. 01.
