Description
Sheryl Crow has had a bumper year in 2019, not only with her new work “THREADS” but also with the best professional shots. The “third masterpiece” is now available, following the highly popular “GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2019” and “KAABOO FESTIVAL”. This work was filmed at “Burbank performance on December 2, 2019.” This is the multi-camera pro shot. We have posted the schedule for the previous two works, but as time has passed, changes and additions have occurred. First of all, let’s start with the schedule that has been announced so far in order to know about her current situation. ●2019, January 12th – June 9th: North America #1 (9 performances), June 12th – 29th: Europe (15 performances), July 9th – 31st: North America #2 (17 performances) )《“THREADS” released on August 30th》・August 30th – December 4th: North America #3 (14 performances)←★Here★ ●2020・January 11th + 31st/February 22nd: North America (3 performances) April 17th-25th: North America (3 performances) June 6th: Quincy performance This is Sheryl in 2019/2020. This Burbank performance is the 13th performance of “North America #3”, which has reached its final stage in 2019. The previous two works have both taken part in outdoor festivals, but this time the atmosphere has changed completely. This is a DVD version of Cheryl’s special program on streaming radio “iHeartRadio”. For this reason, the event is different from regular stage concerts, as it is held in a studio within the broadcasting station, and includes a talk with the host midway through. However, it was not a “studio live” where the members faced each other, and the audience was firmly present at the scene. What’s more, there are many fans holding up their smartphones and eagerly taking pictures. Although it feels more like a closed room than a normal concert, it is a live video that firmly communicates with the audience and makes a noise. Of course, it is the latest distribution from a music specialty station, so the quality is super high. This is a perfect official professional shot. The previous two works were superb, but since it was an in-house studio, they could do whatever they wanted with the lighting and camera work. The angles of each member are often used to create a sharp picture, and the lighting and beams are brightly colored to match the song. The camera control is perfect, and even small zooms and scrolls seem to add to the excitement of the song. It is a much more elaborate and “work-like” video than an outdoor festival with natural light where a variety of bands appear in succession. What is depicted with such visual beauty is a show that is slightly different from the previous two works. As mentioned earlier, there will be a Q&A with the program host, but the set itself has also changed. Let’s organize the contents here. ●Past repertoire (4 songs)・SHERYL CROW: If It Makes You Happy/Everyday Is a Winding Road・THE GLOBE SESSIONS: My Favorite Mistake・C’MON, C’MON: Soak Up the Sun ●THREADS (6 songs)・Prove You Wrong/Tell Me When It’s Over/Still the Good Old Days ・Songs not seen in the previous two albums: Cross Creek Road/Everything Is Broken/Beware of Darkness…and so on. In the previous two works, only one song was replaced, but in this work, the number of new “THREADS” numbers has increased at once. In fact, with a balance of more than half of the songs being new songs, it is a fresh stage that is closer to the “live performance version of THREADS” than ever before. And, while the song selection is fresh, the ensemble is well-seasoned and delicious. The ensemble with the backing that has been developed on previous tours is perfect, even down to the sense of breathing, and it will be a passionate performance that is suitable for the end of 2019. Sheryl Crow toured the world with “THREADS,” which is said to be her “last work.” This is a video work that you can enjoy for about 70 minutes. A masterpiece where you can witness passionate performances with a casual yet high level of perfection that can only be achieved in a studio. This is a piece that is more suitable as a “video edition to accompany THREADS” than the previous two works. iHeartRadio Theater, Burbank, CA, USA 2nd December 2019 PRO-SHOT 1.
